Lorraine Farrell, National Aistear Development Officer

Lorraine has worked in early childhood for over 20 years, in a variety of areas including practice, management, training, mentoring, lecturing, researching and policy development as well as owning her own sessional setting. Lorraine currently holds the position of National Aistear Development Officer with the NCCA with responsibility for the Aistear Síolta Practice Guide.

Workshops :- 11:45am & 2pm

1. Sing Ireland –

This workshop will support the educator in empowering babies, toddlers and young children to find their voice through the joy of singing.

2. Kindness through Leadership –

This workshops aim is to support management staff to foster a positive Organisational Culture through the philosophy of Kind Leadership.

3. Promoting the intergration of the Irish language –

This workshops aim is to support educators in promoting Irish language integration within English medium settings.

4. LGBTQ+ Ireland

This workshop will explore and discuss diversity in Irish society while supporting families educators and babies, toddlers and young children.

5. Grounded in Nature –

Discover the power of the outdoors through this hands-on learning practical workshop. It will highlight how you can develop meaningful experiences, no matter the size of your outdoor space.

6. Infant Mental Health

This workshop explores the importance of supporting babies, toddlers and young childrens mental health and wellbeing.

Lunch included :- 1pm
