We are delighted to report on the success of Strengthening Connections 2, a continued professional development event that took place on the 15th of November, 2025. The
energy, collaboration, and commitment shown by the Educators who attended made the day truly special.
Over 100 Educators came together to explore themes that support high-quality practice, strong leadership, and deep connection within teams and with babies, toddlers and young children.
We were honoured to open the day with an inspiring keynote from Lorraine Farrell (NCCA) on Aistear—a powerful reminder of what matters most in early learning and care, the importance of slow relational pedagogy, and the vital role of the educator in fostering a rights-based, inquiry-led curriculum.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in an array of informative, reflective, and uplifting workshops. Feedback from attendees highlighted just how valuable and thought-provoking each session was.
A heartfelt thank you to all our workshop facilitators for sharing their expertise, passion, and generosity. Your contributions helped create a rich learning experience that will stay with participants long after the conference.
And of course, a huge thank you to all the attendees—your engagement, openness, and enthusiasm are what make this event so meaningful. It’s always a privilege to come together as a community dedicated to supporting babies toddlers, young children, families and communities across Tipperary.
We look forward to continuing to strengthen connections, inspire practice, and support the amazing work happening across our sec
tor.
