At Ready Steady Go Childcare we like to work closely with parents and professionals in order to provide a
X2 Full Time position, 30-40hr per week warm and welcoming learning environment for all children in our care. Our curriculum is tailored to encourage children’s growth through learning, play, socialisation and independence.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
x2 Full time staff – minimum 30 hours per week, max 40
Salary – from €13 to €15.50 per hour – dependent on experience & level of qualifications
Job Description:
- Create a positive and safe learning environment for every child
- Care for and encourage learning growth for each individual child Supervise children’s learning journey
- Plan the daily environment & activities around the interests & emerging interests of the children in your
care - Observe, monitor and record the development of the children in compliance with the Childcare (Pre-School Services) Regulations 2016 and be familiar with the Regulations.
- Have a great rapport with adults and children alike.
- Be enthusiastic have a ‘can-do’ attitude, with a good sense of team spirit.
- Follow daily service routines
- Communicate positively with children, staff and parents daily
- Follow service policies & procedures
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification- FETAC Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent
Experience in an Early Years setting would be great but not essential
Be a Team player with good organisational skills & be able to work on your own initiative, Be punctual
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: €13.00-€15.50 per hour
Expected hours:between 7.45 – 18.00 rostered per week
Advanced/Higher Certificate (required)
Experience: paid childcare: 3 years (required)
